Dominique (Dom) Pere’
Dom is Louisiana native and graduate of Louisiana State University. He began his career in Dubai, UAE where he spent six years in various roles overseeing acquisitions, logistics and business development for public and private companies in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. In 2011, Dom founded Marex Services, a maritime logistics company that launched vesselcharter.com, a maritime exchange software focused on providing shipping and chartering services within the global maritime industry. Dom is the co-founder of Fila-Mar Energy Services, an independent third-party logistics company with operations in Texas, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. Dom and Lambert co-founded PropDispatch in order to bring efficiency, visibility and cost savings to last mile proppant delivery. Dom is a partner at PropDispatch and serves as CEO.
Lambert Arceneaux
Lambert is a Texas native and veteran entrepreneur with a thirty year history starting successful companies in oil and gas, distribution and custom home building. A graduate from Sam Houston State University, Lambert has a track record of small businesses through innovation and rapid growth. Lambert got his start in oil and gas providing transloading services of proppant in North Dakota in 2009. Lambert’s proppant logistics expertise is unmatched in the industry. As a co-founder of Fila-Mar Energy Services, an independent proppant 3PL with operations in Texas, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado, Lambert and Dom co-founded PropDispatch in order to bring efficiency, visibility and cost savings to last mile proppant delivery. Lambert is a partner at PropDispatch and serves as COO.
William (Bill) Schmid
Bill is a native New Yorker with an undergraduate BS degree in Accountancy and a Master’s degree in Finance from Hofstra University. Upon graduating university, Bill started his career in investment banking by joining Morgan Guaranty Trust Company's training program in New York. He moved to Barclay's Bank PLC in 1979 as an energy analyst, who ultimately then brought him to Houston in 1980. In 1982, Bill joined the energy group at Societe Generale-Houston (SG), the 2nd largest French bank and then 9th largest international bank. During his investment banking career at SG, his managing director client responsibilities spanned numerous roles including analyst, commercial energy officer and energy investment banker and project advisor to some of the world’s largest energy clients including Conoco, Petrobras, PDVSA, Total, Hunt Oil, Mobil and BP.
In 1997, Bill moved overseas to Paris into a head office managerial and business development role building a global energy and infrastructure project finance business from the ground up that ultimately became the largest and most recognized global project finance teams in the world with numerous awards and consistent rankings as the #1 project finance business in the business. This group remains one of the most recognized product groups having advised and arranged debt and equity capital for some of the largest multi-billion dollar energy pipeline, oil and gas field development and LNG import and later export projects in the world.
In 2003, Bill moved back from Europe to take on the management oversight of SG's North American corporate investment banking business (Canada/US/South America). With more than 500 employees in the North American Region and +$35 billion in assets, his responsibilities included the development and overall supervision of the regions overall activities with groups that included regulatory, human resource and commercial businesses which included energy, project finance, mining and minerals, leverage finance, large corporate, infrastructure, loan syndicate and its equity and debt capital markets activities. While North American regional head, Bill sat on the board of the North American activities with reporting ties to senior management in Paris. He helped successfully guide the bank's North American region through the 2008 financial crisis and his supervision of the IT groups new systems development helped allow the bank to timely and accurately report to the Federal Reserve under the post financial crisis environment that the industry still lives under today. In December 2013, after a +30 year successful international career at SG, Bill retired in Houston with his Texas raised family.
Bill joined Fila-Mar Energy Services and PropDispatch as CFO in 2014. Today he provides financial and strategic direction on both Fila-Mar’s energy logistics and PropDispatch.
